After six years of activity, Genoma Laboratory has become an affirmed reality in the Italian National Health panorama. Genoma is the result of an innovative project and a new method of interpreting the activity of a laboratory: a Diagnostic Center highly specialized in Genetics and Molecular Biology that provides qualified support to laboratories, medical centers, private specialists and patients.

Operating since 1998, Genoma has made the use of the most modern and technologically advanced instrumentation its strong point: as scientific progress is made and new diagnostic needs emerge, it remains constantly up to date by using sophisticated analytical and innovative methods.

Thanks to the precious contribution of an independent Research Section, whose activity involves chiefly the study and realization of new molecular diagnostic tests and techniques, Genoma offers an articulated diversification of services - among the most complete in our country - which enable the Center to provide continuously innovative diagnostic solutions for patients. It is able to respond to the major part of new diagnostic needs.

These features have made it possible for Genoma to become one of the most qualified centers in the sector of molecular diagnostics, a reference point for many public and private health care structures. The amount of work Genoma does is significant and continues to increase: over 35,000 genetic tests, more than 15,000 patient referrals per year and intense collaboration with prestigious national and international research institutes.
