Genoma Laboratory has a Research and Development Section whose duty is to guarantee continuous updating regarding the most recent technological and medical-scientific advances that are underway, both on the national and international scene, so as to "translate" into operative reality the most recent scientific acquisitions in various sectors.

The Research and Development Section, in fact, formulates precise multidisciplinary projects. Its objective is to implement the diagnostic methodologies in use and to monitor diagnostic results in function of specific pathologies, some of which are of particular social and sanitary relevance.

Concretely, the activities of the Research and Development Section involve the realization of an articulated diversification of services, among the most complete in the country, which enable Genoma to provide innovative diagnostic answers, able to offer solutions to the majority of emerging diagnostic needs.
